Dear Mrs. Thompson,

Thank you so much for the lovely Tanzanian themed card from everyone at Cronton C of E Primary School. I was delighted to receive it and it is certainly helping to keep my spirits up.

I am now back at home after being in hospital for so long and I am enjoying being looked after by Kaka Ron. I am still having lots of medication and I have been told that my recovery is likely to take a long time but at least we know now what was causing my illness. Please would you pass on my thanks and appreciation to all

the children and staff for the card and their good wishes. As with everything, your support is tremendous and we both greatly appreciate it.

My thoughts are never far from Tanzania. I thought you might like to see a couple of photos taken on our last visit to Arise School in November. They remind me of what it is all about. They show two children from extremely poor families who had no chance of ever going to school. Both started school in January with the support of sponsors. The sponsors also gave us some money to buy some rice and cooking oil for their families so that they had something to eat. Their mothers were delighted and the children were so happy to be able to go to school. How different their lives are from ours.

I hope it will not be too long before I am able to come back into school to see you all again.

Love and best wishes,

Dada (Bibi!) Sue
