Online Safety Survey

Date: 9th Sep 2017 @ 12:56pm

I have attached an analysis of an online-safety questionnaire completed by KS2 children during the summer term 2017.  All of these issues will be discussed with the children in Autumn Term 2017 and any areas of concern will be addressed.

The results show how sensible our children are where online-safety is concerned.  However, the digital world is always changing and we constantly need to work together to ensure the safety of our children.

You may find it useful to discuss some of the questions asked with your child.

76 children (68%) said in the survey that they have social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, snapchat, what’s app and twitter.  I try to include lots of information on the website and blog such as how to set controls.  You can find this on the following links.

If you need any advice at all, or have any suggestions please do not hesitate to contact me, either after school on Tuesdays or Thursdays or email the school for my attention.

Many thanks

Mrs Edwards
