I am no longer maintaining our old website as the blogsite is more interactive. Everyone has ownership of the blog whereas I was the only person who could update the website.
I have just received this lovely comment from someone who used to live in Cronton – Mark Atherton.
Thank you, Mark. It is great to think that as a school, we are creating something that will be interesting in many years to come.
Here is Mark’s comment.

Hi, I hit on your website by chance, and really enjoyed looking at the photo’s of how Cronton is today. I lived in Cronton from 1965 til 1980 and went to Holy Family School, I wish we could have had this medium to portray our village as it was then, as you are doing now, in 40/50 years time this site and the memories, and the photo’s will be priceless, you’d be suprised how quickly everything change’s, it would be interesting to see a class go round to the same location as you already have with your photo’s, and take the same photograph, from the same place in the same month each year, and compare the changes year on year. loved viewing the pics, thank you, Mark Atherton.

Mrs Lewis asked me if there was a way she could make a comment on the whole of the blog site.  No sooner said than done, Mrs Lewis!  Here is our brand new guest book.  I wonder who will be the first person to write on our guest book?

I loved working in Cronton school and will miss it very much, I love the children dearly and will miss seeing their smiley faces that would always brighten my day. I will be your best blogger Mrs E now that I have left, it will be a lovely way of keeping in touch. Thank you once again for all the wonderful cards, gifts and flowers and the fantastic send off (I loved being a Partridge in a pear tree) xxx

Your school has a very nice blog indeed, a credit to all who’ve contributed to it.

It is evident that Cronton C. of E. Primary School has a caring and supportive environment, one which is conducive to good learning.

    Well done teachers and students!

    Mrs Edwards,
I have a suggestion for a new blog page.I didn’t know where to put it but this seems the perfect place.Could we please have a suggestion page for all of the upcoming events?

The guest book blog is for visitors to our blog to leave comments, Daisy. Perhaps you could ask the children who have their own blogs to write the suggestions for you. Maybe when you are in Year 6 you could have your own blog.
